Got us a new stadium. Never been relegated from the prem ever. Many a European nights when he had full control.
To chase him out before he can sit in his little chairman box at BMD would be outrageous.
We'll never have an ounce of luck because of it.
I just can't see him walking away...his ego is just to big.
His delusion knows no boundsexpecting 6 yr contract
but he has to go!
I m led to believe that there still has to be one member of the board until others are appointed. Therefore any upcoming announcement will be that he will remain until those appointments are made. If thats the case which sounds feasible, then put away your party hats for a bit. He’s having one last go of the the glory hole on Wednesday and that’s it. Good times indeed.
If BK has been asked to stay on '' pro tem '' he will be even harder to shift. The club website is now showing him as the sole board member .I m led to believe that there still has to be one member of the board until others are appointed. It'll be like the belated Birthday Present you used to get when you didn't see a relative on your actual birthday. Enough to make the celebrations stretch to 48hToday is my birthday. I wish it was tomorrow as, if the news is to be believed, it would be the best birthday present ever.
Then again, maybe it's just as well it's not because I still don't believe he'll go...
Terrible question but what came first, Rooney or Kings Dock? Started supporting around this time and it kind of blurs together. It was Rooney that did it for me.
We were a huge club with a big fan base, yea the 90's were rocky but if ever a chance presented it's self to turn the club around it was that 16 year old die hard toffee super star.
Anyone with any business acumen would have used Rooney to drive investment and turn the club around. Or at least try.
Kenwright tried to drive a bidding war to get as much for him as possible. It was the only way for him to keep control of the club and he knew it.
The moment Rooney walked out the door, we resigned ourselves to also rans.
(I know the next season we finished fourth but thats on Moyes, a freak low points season, and luck, not Kenwright)
