Tbh I did worry when all of them resigned apart from him. The “48 hours” thing is an age old Bill trick of hoping everyone would get swept up in other news and forget about it, however in the internet age this isn’t really an effective tactic anymore. I’m beginning to believe he isn’t going anywhere if I’m honest.

If that turns out to be the case and he tries to tough it out, then I would imagine that his prolonged presence would cause untold disruption to the existence of the club.
For him to retain any official office with Everton, you really would have to question his sanity. I mean could you rule out someone trying to do him physical harm if he was spotted in the city? That would make for some horrible headlines.

To be fair, it's a miracle nobody hasn't done regrettable. Emotions have been running high for a long time. Hopefully he'll be gone soon. Any bovver would be great PR for that toad.

Or he's thinking about how to redeem himself now his legacy is one of ruin and stalling for time.
If I get to the age he has and I go to my deathbed with the hundreds of thousands of people spit on the floor at the mention of my name, that would lay heavily on me. I do have a healthy and logical conscience though.

The horrible irony of this potential point of view is that he could've avoided all the current vitriol by abandoning the Chairman Bill persona. He can't though, he HAS TO BE Chairman Bill. He can't just quit, then how will be associated with his own (in his eyes obviously) company/identity that is Everton FC?

He's put himself through this situation that was easily avoidable. In reality when Moshiri came along and we had Brands and Razyantsev and all - all Bill had to do was sit back, smile and wave, that's what everyone wanted/expected to happen.

Instead - famously meddling in transfers, day to day operations and hires, keeping himself and his mates on the board, insisting in actual public posts that they're doing a splendid job, and so on.

He's basically done all this to himself.
