He might be here for a bit longer sadly.

BK: Boy do I have a proposition for you! A 777 original...

If (and it's a big if) he had anything to do with R&M blocking MSP I wonder if this deal was done as a big two finger salute to Bill. Be interesting to see if we ever see Kenwright and Moshiri together again.

He was far from just a figurehead, when Moshiri came Bill was his right hand man, don't forget Bill practically ran the club showing Moshiri the ropes and how to spend his money.
I always got the impression that Mosh was the one in charge and Bill was sort of a lackey figure kept on as a token, but maybe you are right.

You’re very conveniently forgetting that Kenwright wanted Megson over Moyes and it was Walter Smith that changed his mind.

Please don’t try and give the fat slug any credit, as he deserves none.
Not trying to give him credit, just think he's kind of a powerless pawn at this stage.

Unfortunately, never ill enough to retire.

Strange that.
Won't retire because he's a 'workaholic' who only wants the best for his club. Trouble is, nobody knows what he does.

The club cannot attract a decent calibre of sponsor, had to go back on its pledge to not use gambling companies and is amongst the lowest earners the division ; the club goes through managers like nobodies business - at any one time they're likely still paying the previous 2/3 managers ; as chairman, he's overseeing an extended period (over half a decade) where the club has bought recklessly and ended up releasing over £250m of 'talent' ; he signed off on the most hated managerial candidate knowing the fans would be up in arms, ending predictably ; he was a crucial part of a vicious campaign against the fans in an attempt to gain sympathy amongst the press to save his skin ; is apparently too ill to perform his role (and has allegedly been so for a long time) yet won't step aside and allow somebody more capable to take the position on ; claims to be the most revered chairman in the league with loads of contacts, clubs jealous of how he conducts his business dealings yet hasn't been able to leverage these contacts to attract investment in the club.

It's impressive how badly he's failed the club.

Doesn't he have any family? Surely they ought to be doing all they can to prolong his life and remove any stress from it - particularly if he's as ill as is claimed to be the case. They're as much to blame as he is for our plight if they're not piling on the pressure for him to retire.
