Bill Kenwright

Kenwright’s funeral was today? Nothing in the media about it, I would have expected plenty of news if it was today.
Mentioned on Talk Sport this morning. They had an interview with Keith "Bully Beef" Wyness about it. Apparently a small private affair. I didn't catch the whole of the U21s match but I don't think "Daz" or "Diamond" talked about it. Obviously trying to keep it low key.

I hope he's not mentioned again, basically just forgotten about. And if he is mentioned, I hope it's only in relation to his disastrous reign at Everton and him being the cause of what happened in the autumn of 2023. Somebody should take his picture down from the ground again and not have it found this time. Or better yet the club should just remove it.

So we’re all still dead happy that Bill’s dead, yeah?

Carry on.

No one is happy about that. But many people are downright disgusted by the farcical re-writing of history being attempted by his pals in the media and the farcical tributes he's been receiving in the context of his career in football.

If you want to pay your respects then by all means do so, but do it in an appropriate setting. That would mean no way near EFC.

I got a few middle fingers for saying he bailed out just before the PL-Independent Commission. Of course it is sad that he passed away due to ill-health I'm sure he was a fantastic person in his world.

My only point of view is Everton Football Club and despite the whole charade with the 10-points which is just a farce, the running of Everton has been amateurish at best for years. There's a price to pay for their incompetence unfortunately Kenwright won't pay for it and at the moment it is the remaining people at the football club and us. The fans. I would hope the now departed members of the board and Moshiri himself will be get some retribution. Even Greame Sharp.

Can't help yourself, can you?

I'm sorry for his friend's and family. The pain of loss they're feeling won't pass for quite some time.

I'm absolutely delighted he's no longer meddling in the day to day goings on at Everton. We can finally start to scrub away the stench of failure that has gripped the club since he gained control. How he can dress any of it up as 'good times' beggars belief. It means our motto was just that, a meaningless motto rather than something we should aspire to.

I'm also hopeful that his 'legacy' is dismantled brick by brick and his lies and selfishness when it comes to Everton is laid bare for all to see. I'd like nothing more than for his enablers and arse sniffers in the media and fansbase to have their faces rubbed in it and they feel acute embarrassment for being taken in by a charlatan.

Now he's gone, things will start to emerge. Nailed on.

Toodle pip!
