Dont like winning ugly but couldent give a flying fook about the chicken selling beauts and there fans
There are worse clubs and worse fans out there than the chicken run business. I know a guy who is a super nice guy and he is a Blacburn supporter.

Too bad you don't have a close friends who supports Blackburn, so it is a personal thing.

The players expect to lose, I've just seen again Cahill and Fellaini stroll around when they didn't communicate and lost the ball in the build up to Blackburn's second pen. Terrible attitude. Our work rate off the ball at the moment is nonexistent.

One thing I noticed is that we seemed to be committing more men forward than normal. There are problems in midfield though. I think Fellaini was asked to play further forward, but Heitinga (as usual) wasn't covering. When Cahill came on Fella didn't know what he was supposed to be doing. With other teams subs very often pass instructions to their teammates. Tellingly you don't see that with us. It just becomes a free for all.

Just finished watching on tape delay and I have one word to describe this result:

JUSTICE !!!

Did we deserve to win? No. Did Blackburn? Probably yes.

But that son of a bitch Formica wasn't out there to play. He was out there to dive and win free kicks and penalties. The first one, he just decided to run into Barkley's outstretched leg and fall over. Penalty. Was it? Yeah, I guess it was but it was ****ing weak.

The second one was a travesty of the game. If this were MLS, he'd be given a game suspension for that dive to win the second. Then don't get me started on the dive in their box by Hoilett when Billy left his leg outstretched.

Then there was the damn announcer going on about how great Samba had been when he should have been given a foul twice (two handed shove on Anichebe and then the non-existent call on Cahill) and how Arsenal should be looking at him rather than Jags.

I hope someone does Formica, I really do. He had no interest in staying on his feet and he conned Mason big time on the second one.

As for our penalty...it was iffy and probably wasn't deserve but it was more deserved than their second that much is sure.

Overall. It was much of the same like we had against QPR. Poor passing, poor movement, poor decision making (Distin !!! What were you thinking late in the 2nd half???) and a general apathy. We were all over the place.

Anichebe: Not a lone striker but gave his best. Still gotta calm down though.
Heitinga: Not a defensive midfielder.
Fellaini: Not at the races.
Jags: Quit giving the ball away.
Neville: Not one of his better outings.
Distin: Good one minute, scary bad the next.
Baines, Osman, Barkley ... did ok.
Cahill: Did well when he came in.
Billy: Did ok but nothing spectacular.
Arteta: Still getting back into the swing of things. Fair.

Overall, we deserved a big zero from the game but I'm sorry, Blackburn had that **** coming to them after the horrid calls they got.

It's not hard tho mate, attacking as a group and defending as a group. It's what you learn on the playground when you're 7 years old. All it takes is one player to close down the man on the ball and everyone else to at least vaguely be in a decent position. We just gave it away and then backed off again, same as last week. It makes such a difference, if every player was working harder we would be so much better.

Just finished watching 45 minutes of that , feel lucky it wasn the full 90 .

Had the result been as it should it would have been a tough night to endure as an Evertonian .

It was interesting to note Kenny Dalglish's comments following Liverpool's result today in which he commented on the team's passing and movement, something which judging by MOTD's highlights looked sharp and slick in most parts.

Sadly, by comparison our whole side, from front to back, look like snowmen. No movement, no imagination, nothing more than a few triangles that wouldn't be out of place in a sunday league match.

I wouldn't say our team is completely devoid of creativity; In fact I think it's more a case of lack of movement.

The whole defence looked totally uncomfortable with the lack of options in front of them. We have reverted back to the days where we rely solely on the overlapping full-backs to create an opening from a cross, which has all the hallmarks of Moyes' honeymoon period.

In conclusion, It is a real worry how our football has not evolved one bit over the years. I really hope it is a case of low confidence or lack of match fitness which will sort it self out as the season progresses, but if it doesn't, who takes the blame? I wish I could say not David Moyes, and that the real problem lies with the attitude of the players on the pitch, something I usually would say in defence of other managers who find themselves in a predicament. But as much as it saddens me to say, the book does and will always stop with the manager.

I watched that match and as much as it sickens me to say it, Dalglish is spot on with that comment. Bolton had no chance in that match and if Luckypool keep playing like that, they're gonna be in the top four. They looked very very good.

In addition to the above, if in fact our current form is due to lack of match practice/ fitness/ low confidence, and does sort it self out as the season progresses, then I think scrappy/ lucky wins like today and any others we manage to pick up in the coming weeks before things do hopefully improve, will be very welcome indeed, as this is something we haven't managed to do in the opening weeks of the season for a while.

To end positively, these scrappy/ lucky/ points we may pick up could be the difference between a fruitless end of season surge for 8th and a possible push for Europe. Time will tell.

It was, grudgingly, pleasing on the eye. A stark contract to how we play, which is a real shame. Alls it takes is some imagination, They don't have world class players, but their movement off the ball really makes the difference and presents so many options to the player in possession.
