Hey lets all look at the bright side.

We don't usually win until January (when we're finally fit and up to speed) so this was just a bonus.

Exactly my point. We are playing poorly at the moment, that much is true. But if we keep picking up the points whilst doing so, then have our annual resurgence up the table, coupled with scrappy/ lucky points we have already accumulated, things could work out well.

Finished watching a bit ago. Wow that was awful. We can moan about the lack of new signings, but the squad they put out there is much better than they've shown. And if they aren't, this club is more than a signing or two away from being any good.

I watched that match and as much as it sickens me to say it, Dalglish is spot on with that comment. Bolton had no chance in that match and if Luckypool keep playing like that, they're gonna be in the top four. They looked very very good.
Thats the key to their season if they keep it up,i think they will but we'll see.

As for our pass and movement its risable sadly i suspect this team Moyes built needs to be dismantled, one or two signings are not going to cut it a wholesale remodel is called for,not becuase of the last weeks performances but becuase it's just time,it happens to all teams good bad or indifferent

I hate to say it but it will between them and the red & blue side of Manchester this year. All Londoners will be looking in the shop window.

What about playing something a tad bit different?

-------------------------------------- Anichebe --------------------------------------
----------------------------- Fellaini ------------ Cahill ------------------------------
---------------------- Arteta (c) ----- Heitinga ------ Rodwell --------------------
-- Baines --------------------------------------------------------------- Coleman --
---------------------------- Distin ------------------- Jagielka -----------------------
--------------------------------------- Howard ----------------------------------------

I don't think we should play Barkley at this stage of his development, 20 minutes now and then is fine.

That midfield is pretty creative, Fellaini can drop back pulling off a opposition defender for Baines to move into the free space left. Coleman is also brilliant at playing as a wingback, Heitinga can drop into either flank when they move up and Rodwell can drop back aswell so we aren't caught on the counter. Arteta will be allowed to move across the park and Cahill will just cause troubles with late runs. After a defensive clearence, Anichebe can hold the ball up untill either flank moves up and gives support. Plenty of options on the bench then if we need to change anything or mix it up.

Anyone else scream at the TV like I did when Formica went down for both penalties?

Especially the 2nd one. My wife had to calm me down.

Cahill was in on goal when he was called for that phantom foul. Our PK was, at the very least, a make up call for that one.

We do suck, though. I guess if you are going to suck, you might as well suck with 3 points.

God help us when we play a real Premiership side.

I hope thats a joke? Blackburn have been in the Premierleauge for 16-17-18 seasons winning the title during that stint.

Thats a bit disrespectful to them, I don't like Rovers but I would never say that.

Best performance of our season that

Id like to say i was shocked at the formation, but no, predictable Moyes, honestly, if bookies took bets on what the line-up will be, id be rich, RICH I TELL YOU. Dissappointed Hibbert got dropped, disappointed Heitinga was moved back into midfield, and disappointed Fellaini played in all honesty - he was unfit last game, and again today and wasted a vital chance on goal.

Anyone ever realise, for all the complaining Moyes does about having a "small squad" he only uses it when there are injuries, he never changes anything and its rare for the formation to change. I feel sorry for the likes of Hibbert, Bily, Yak, and probably Rodwell when Coleman is fit - all sitting on the bench, waiting for their chance - when someone gets injured.

Im at a stage now where i couldnt careless about the formation, i just want to see something different!! If i had the chance to set up a formation, tbh i would play Vellios and Beckford upfront, see how pace and height could partner up (defoe and crouch?)
