Who's planning on paying for this?

Looks great and I'd love to see it, but where's the funding planned from?

Anyone can knock up a design. Need to have the board onside for it to occur. Without a plan for cash it's just as pie in the sky as anything the board are accused of.

I'm not taking sides, just saying. I'm actually pro-redeveloping GP, I'd like it.

The phasing is incremental and as such each phases increases income which then kicks off the next phase.

The first phase, the PE, comes from the manna given to the club by Sky/TV.

What like the close proximity of hundreds of houses and a school?

No schools or houses behind the PE.

Also the first two phases are built on the current footprint.

The Bullens phase has at least four options one of which brought Gwladys Street School on site and that would be incorporated with the stand.

Im afraid this is merely a change of tactics here. BU saw that Board hathred wont carry them long so now they have took, I admit, pretty clever stance with this "stay at goodison" campaign.

No its not, KEIOC as the poster just before you had similar plans on its website.

So we'll just ignore that other phases involve disrupting the local community then because the sites not big enough for a modern football stadia?

You cant make an omelette without breaking an egg, they will be building and that will cause disruption.

If they build on WHP they will cause disruption too.

Maybe so..

But like I said before. At its best BUs "plans and crafts" can motivate board to work harder. Nothing more. And for that I can salute them. But when they start to act like they would posses some sort of power against the board they become annoyance.

Wrong, there's fan 3. Knows what's going on off the field, wants change, but in a manner that comes across as knowledgeable, intelligent, negotiable and accepting of other views.

The fact that you only have one way or the highway even in categorising fans simply proves the point.

Perhaps you can post their plans to get this club out of the mire.

Hence the 'redevelopment'.

So instead of moving to a site that is suitable you'd like us to stay at one that's not and develop the ground knowing it's not being built to the best and most relevant design of a modern football stadia but just being buillt to "fit in" to restricted paramaters?

That doesn't sound like a progressive way to go about it, in fact it sounds very like a short term solution and botched.

We have a generation of 20-25 year olds who have never seen us win anything and whose perception of the club - influenced by a biased and disinterested media obsessed with wealth & current standing - is that we're on a par with West Ham and Stoke.

This acceptance of mediocrity (because they don't know any better) has led to apathy, and a resistantance to change.

Your right about 20-25 year olds about not seeing anything but nothing when it comes to Everton but I don't think its that easy to label them with apathy or resistance to change. I've mentioned it previously but what about the fans who seen all the title wins and then witnessed the demise of our club and the speed in which it happened ( 7 years it could have been from winning the title to nearly being relegated ) was that apathy on their part?

I'm right in the middle I reckon age wise ( 36 ) where I was a kid the last title win but old enough to remember the 95 cup win and had to live through a world of pain 5 years previous to get to that cup win. Easy to say the young kids have to do something but maybe there's a lot of old school fans who don't go on the Internet and understand the goings on of the club.

I think there's a lot of us who use forums and get a better understanding but maybe there's still a lot of us who don't want to get involved in club politics.
In fairness I think you're missing The Esks point. It's not media related....just take a look at some of the comments or have a look in the Vault at previous BU- related threads.....it's fans themselves, not the media who are causing the disharmony. There needs to be common ground (pardon the pun) between BU and the rest of the support and a mutual appreciation of viewpoints before any progress in terms of getting everyone onside can be made. This business about being Kenwright lovers or happy clappers simply alienated the vast majority of supporters. I'm no Kenwright lover and certainly not a happy clapper but I appreciate BK's position....it's a tough spot to be in. He's a supporter but also the man charged with keeping us competitive - he clearly doesn't have the personal wealth to contribute significantly and appears to be lacking in the ability to find an appropriate buyer for the club. Employing professionals to do that seems straightforward enough to me, but like a lot of Blues I'd be very concerned about who might buy us and what direction it could take the club. New ownership is a massive issue....very much a 50:50 gamble if you get the right person/group or the wrong one. It's a fine balance between moving Everton onwards for the next 50 years or ruining the history of the last 137 years.
For me two things need to occur to move this particular relationship to grow.....The Board need to come out and be wholly transparent about their strategic plans for Evertons future and be clear in expressing their financial capability or plans to increase revenues or find a buyer, and the main guys at BU need to come out and openly challenge the less diplomatic amongst their support and get them all working for the same goal instead of the back-biting and petty squabbling that turns other Blues completely off.

Your spot on with the first few lines about the fans ( or at least the majority of fans ) are not behind the Blue Union and for a movement to happen imo we wouli need a movement of 10-15,000 Blues supporting the cause.

For whatever reason ( and I think the 2 points are the conversation with Kenwright that became public, even though I think it was agreed it was to be made public really riled a lot of fans and then like you mention the "happy clappers" tag )

Doesn't matter how good their intentions are, if a large proportion of the fanbase isn't behind them then your fighting a losing battle imo
