The BU needs to get themselves into a position where the doors are no longer locked, that performance added another lock on the door in my opinion.

The board dont want any doors unlocked as it brings forward the day that they leave the comfort of their domain for the last time.

Three ground moves served on a plate have come to nothing, proposals to redevelop come to nothing. They dont want anything to do with a plan(s) to cut short their tenure.

People just don't like the boat being rocked. Really its that simple.

That's it. When the BU first started up we were going through a bit of a bad patch so feelings were low, fans had sympathy with what the BU had to say and they had a fair amount of support, as soon as things picked up on the pitch, those same fans slagged them to death, accusing them of trying to cause unrest amongst our support, etc, leading to that grotesque round of applause of support at the ground when Kenwright's mug came up on the screen.

At the end of the day we're all just fickle football fans.

Like the expert says it needs development but it is possible and cheaper than a new ground. I would take more notice of an expert than an anti BU looking for any excuse to bad mouth them.

Anything is possible given the right amount of finance, but building from scratch without restrictions is obviously the prefered way. Why restrict yourself when you don't have to?

No, we need the club to be run properly and not be risk-adversive. We need ambitious, visionary people running the club, willing to take calculated risk based on their professional know-how, as opposed to taking no risks at all. We need to bring commercial operations in house, and invest money in quality qualified commercial experts to exploit and grow our brand. We should not limit our world to 2 shops in the city & a website. We need to overtake Stoke (!) in terms of commercial performance. We need to be aggressive in media relations and challenge bad/poor national media coverage. If the club is run properly, with a 1, 2, 5 and 10 year plan to increase revenues and develop growth, there is no need for a 'sugar daddy'.

I like the cut of your jib mate, keep it up.

I think overall preference would be to redevelop our beloved Goodison Park. If there is a chance to stay at Goodison I think most people would opt for it.

what about some sort of sports science department structure allied with the club ?

ok we don't necessarily have the footfall 24/7 to make a hotel work but what we do have is a premiership football team, with our john moores connection could we possibly source some academic funding?

again I'm thinking outside of a box

That was suggested by KEIOC within its Football Quarter proposal, another idea rubbished by the club.

But it's already been established that the current location isn't suitable or big enough for a new modern stadium so anything built there is just a compromise.

Accepting second best is what the BU have been accusing the board and other fans of doing and now they're propsing just that.

So instead of moving to a site that is suitable you'd like us to stay at one that's not and develop the ground knowing it's not being built to the best and most relevant design of a modern football stadia but just being buillt to "fit in" to restricted paramaters?

That doesn't sound like a progressive way to go about it, in fact it sounds very like a short term solution and botched.

The overwhelming evidence shows us all that this board doesn't have the plan, will, gumption, expertise and ambition to move anywhere.

When will that hit home on people I dont know as it has taken them, the powers that be at the club, from 1999 to get absolutely nowhere?

So let me get this right, Cos I don't wanna be jumping on no bandwagon that's going in the wrong direction here. We hate Bill and the board and we also hate the Blue Union?

Are we really expecting them to come up with a plan for our new stadium or redevelopment of Goodison, I don't think that's what they were formed for and it seems a bit beyond them myself but at least they're letting the board know people care and they haven't done anything to piss me off, although the secret recording thing was all a bit daft.

Anyway back too the Booooooing Booooooo Booooooooo

Established by advisor to the board, Chris Potts, in the run up to Kirkby. Wonder why?
