I'm pleased someone else sees it too friend. Hopefully this heart to heart we are having can stop it before it really gets going.

Every walk of life has their nobheads. We have our fair share, but God definitely gave them up as a lost cause.

I don't care if we unsettle other clubs players anymore, I don't care if we push them into handing in transfer requests to force a move to us, I don't care if we chuck an extra £5m at a transfer fee to blow another team out of the water, it's great to be in a position to do that now.

This sort of thing is unacceptable.

...call them deluded or unbelievably optimistic, regardless of opposition they feel they can win. I think we are either realist or pessimist. They say they don't see us as a threat which is possibly true based on results but regardless they want us to get beat as much as we do them.

Is sizeable elements of this forum really any different from RAWK though*?

If you asked most Evertonians with an awareness of online Everton what was the equivalent of our RAWK I reckon most would justifiably point to here.

* I do realise my contribution towards this.

GOT contains loads of what we mock them for. Like egostistical crushing try too hard posters pushing perceived partisanship in a cheap grab at internet approval.

But they have Mods banning people for being critical of players, you'd never get that around here. There'd be no posters left FFS!!!

We have our fair share of whopperage on here, as does every clubs online support, but RAWK are the World Champions

We're definately not perfect

For instance, the general attitude to the youth setup/team/players on GOT is probably worse than any other major clubs forum I'd wager (It's not everybody of course, but there's plenty of them)

But, we also have genuinely brilliant things like the depression thread that shows we have a real community here at the same time

You have to take the rough with the smooth when it comes to the internet. This isn't real life

Don't have any particular link but that screenshot in the Lfc thread of someone getting straight up banned for criticising Henderson is plain daft.

Step away from the party line and you get shunned. Its almost like a load of nerds playing some fantasy role playing game, break character and ruin their immersion and the dungeon master will kick you out of his mum's spare room.

They're both massive football fan sites but there are more differences than similarities.

Yeah, you're probably right, but that doesn't mean we're AS BAD as them, it just means we're Everton's equivilant

To be more general rather than go on about this site vs one of their big fan forums, I'd say I've met blues who were massive whoppers and reds who are really sound. Good and bad people in all walks of life.

But if anyone started an alternative league table on here to dress up our results as better than they are, they would get rightfully ripped to shreds.

RAWK is 90% wools, so can't really compare the two.
