Fellaini's form against poor teams worries me.

I can't really remember him ever just bossing some grock team.

He turns up thinking he can boss it with limited effort and he gets owned, every game.

Anyway, regardless of the Heitinga goal, id still flog him tomorrow, and what.

That's a good pic of the "Reverse Point" that Neville has been practising at Finch Farm recently. The arm comes in, the wrist turns with the index finger perpendicular to the palm and... there you have it.

So if I'm getting this right, by reading through all the posts - Neville has a crap game, gets stick from our fans all game, then Gibson hits him with a snowball just before we score - then he goes mental, and offers Gibbo out for a straightener at Bellefield on Monday afternoon?

Phil Neville: '' Got a bit fired up when heard boos for the sub then the sub scores the winner at my age need to keep calm-thanks for the amazing support!! ''

The boos were understandable considering he took off a striker for a defender

No ones gonna take any notice but when a defender comes on in midfield for a striker but just so happens to score a once in a career winner its nothing but pure luck and circumstance and nothing to do with tactics or managerial ability.

Sure, its hilarious that people were pissed off with the sub but he's the one who scored but if that was genuinely the thinking behind it you think it would have been done before don't you.
The trouble is people just see Heitinga (a centre back by trade) coming on for Jelavic (a striker) and just assume it's a negative substitution taking off a striker and throwing on an extra defender.

The reality though is quite different isn't it? Fellaini was playing today as a holding midfield player with both Anichebe and Jelavic up top in a 4-4-2. Jelavic was once again totally ineffective today so a change was made.

Heitinga didn't come on and join Jags and Distin at the back to shut up shop, he slotted in to Fellaini's holding midfield role where let's be honest, Fellaini didn't excell today. Heitinga CAN play a holding midfield role and you'd trust him more there at the moment than centre half!

Fellaini was then pushed up in to a role hes been excellent in this season, to join Anichebe and hopefully prove to be more effective than Jelavic who might as well have stayed at home today.

But no, in the eyes of some people who don't understand football, the ginger **** just took off a striker and replaced him with a centre back!!
