Boxing

it did mate, and the current group would be more exciting, see the haye-chisora fight, fury haye would have been fun, even when del boy and fury fought,it was enjoyable watching two out of shape whoppers go at it. The standard isnt great, but it could still be entertaining if they got these fights on, after years of the klitchko's tedium, I 'd take a drop in standard for a rise in entertainment

SPOT ON. I'll happily watch that. If you know what you're getting from the kick off there's no issue for me.

Price vs Fury is one I'd like to see.

I would have done pre johnson, hopefully it can still happen, depends on Price overcoming his demons, I hope he does like, be good to see him make a decent living out the sport. Unless he has some flaws we haven't seen yet, I can't wait for Joshua to go through them like a steam train

When I'm bored its usually time to watch fights on youtube. Here is Marvin Hagler vs. John "The Beast" Mugabi. This fight was just a war. If anything just watch for round 6. Mugabi landed an uppercut in the 4th that would have knocked out anyone and Marvin just walked right through it. Also Hagler urinated blood for a few days from the vicious punches that Mugabi landed on this flank. Marvin's ability to take a take a punch is just amazing. Unfortunately for Mugabi he probably took this fight too early in his career (age 25) and never was the same after this fight.

Thanks for posting that. Cracking stuff, especially round 6. Any other great rounds of boxing people want to share? Anything as good as that or say, round 5 from Barrera v Morales, round 10(?) Ward v Gatti etc.

see tyson fury weighed in at over 19 and a half stone, massive even for him, I know he kept his top on which may have added to the weight, or that he was embarrassed at his flab, but still. Could he have lost motivation after the haye fight fell through. I know zilch about Greer, but he do have a high KO rate, and Tyson struggles with southpaws, the guy has probably only been knocking over cabbies but might well be worth a watch
