At the same stage as his career as Joshua is now, Price had also knocked out the majority. He'd won all of his fights and knocked out his opponent in the first few rounds in many of these. The only fighter that both men have fought is Matt Skelton, both knocked him out in round 2 (Price did it 3 years ago when arguably Skelton was more active and in a run of decent form). I agree that Joshua looks a class above Price, I think that Price has been written off too easily because he couldn't deal with Tony Thompson.
It would be a risky fight at this stage for Joshua, I would expect him to be matched with 'durable' fighter of a higher calibre rather than put in with massive punchers. Although this obviously gets more difficult at heavyweight the further he progresses. We won't have the true measure of Joshua until he is in with someone who can really hurt him, in the same way we didn't find out about Price until he got in with Thompson.
Someone like Malik Scott or Mike Perez would be a decent test for Joshua in his next few fights and safer ones than Price, Fury, Chisora. Also
@Lacina Eddie Chambers would be a decent test. Scott & Chambers having some American interest would also be a good thing.
