Boxing

Watched it yesterday evening and other than round 2 and then rounds 4-6 (where she was in genuine trouble) I thought Taylor was picking up pretty much every round. I'd imagine Serrano's power caught her a little by suprise.

Dont know how anyone could've scored the last round, ut was bedlam. Fantastic fight and respect between the two of them. Both giants of boxing.

Rematch in Croker or Aviva nailed on I'd imagine.

EDIT I dont know who the commentators were on DAZN but they were 'kin terrible. I think at one stage they said harder punches score more ?!?

Probably means power punches

Just caught up with the boxing from the weekend and both were great fights for different reasons.

Thought Katie Taylor win by atleast 3 rounds, absolute brilliant fight. Not a fan of womens boxing but that was up there. Fair play to the both of them, absolute warriors.

Shakur Is special isn’t he? Really reminds me of Floyd when he was a super feather and lightweight, huge future for him.

decided to watch Taylor v Serrano again minus the beer goggles . Definitely could of gone either way but imo Taylor did probably edge it overall .

Also shaukur Stevenson is just pure class . would love to see him fight Lomachenko at some point

peak Mike Tyson would have Fury, he'd cut inside and take him out from below. vs Lennox would be a series of close draws. Ali would probably outfox him.

Fury says he's done, but there's a feeling he needs to beat Usyk (who's got Joshua's number) if he wants to be talked about alongside Lennox, Ali and his namesake. He's probably done enough to outrank the Klitchkos tho' in the all-time pantheon.

It’s interesting that people will put Klitschko over Fury and vice versa. When Fury has only defended his belt twice, Klitschko over 20 times.

true, tho' many of those opponents were fairly forgettable fodder. And Fury did beat the more celebrated Klitschko brother. Although Wladimir was 38 at the time, and arguably past his peak, even at peak a few years earlier you'd fancy the superlative Fury we've got now.

The fury in the Whyte/Wilder fights is a dangerous opponent for anyone.

Compubox is useless though and shouldn't be relied on. Its just a person pressing a button when they think a punch lands (regardless of if it was rolled, blocked or not......just opinion)
If it’s that useless why is it still in around ? I obviously useless to the boxing industry

It generates fake statistics for entertainment

I mean, there is more, but I think you get the idea........
