Boxing

To pop once, it can easily happen, twice, something isn’t right but to test positive a third time is actually unreal. Be interesting to see how Whyte is handled in this situation. 3 times, you should be banned for life.
I think he was retiring after he lost next week anyway but he’s just lost out on a good few million lol. Knob head

Anyone who has been anywhere near a boxing gym in the last 10 years will tell you the sport is full of it, juice everywhere.
How many have tested dirty in the last 10 years alone?

Conor Benn
Tyson Fury
Hughie Fury
Whyte x3
BJ Saunders
Canelo
Luis Ortiz
Jarrel Miller
Kid Galahad

That’s just some off the top of my head. Surely been more? It doesn’t help that different drug agencies test for different things. Surely gotta be a total revamp in the drug testing system, cos it’s clearly failing,

AJ now looking at fighting Helenius before a big money match v Wilder later in the year. Wilder sparked the Finn out in the first round 5-6 years ago so AJ will need to show something like that if the bout goes ahead. Just can't see AJ sparking someone in the first round. Maybe not even in the first half of the bout.

It wasn’t 5 or 6 years ago, it was last year. Wilders last fight was against Helenius. Helenius only fought last Saturday too. You can’t compare the two fights, Wilder had a full camp and trained for Helenius for 10 weeks, Joshua’s been mentally preparing for Whyte that is a huge grudge match, he’s had a week to reset that mentality and less than a week to prepare for Helenius.

It’s not a bad replacement fight under the circumstances and less than a weeks notice. One of the biggest upsets in recent times in heavyweight boxing was when Helenius knocked out Adam Kownacki twice. I actually prefer this fight to the Whyte fight, Helenius is taller and you’ll see Joshua fight better against taller fighters.

I must have been thinking about a different 1st round KO for Wilder so I went and watched the highlights on YouTube of Octobers bout. Hmmmmm still not convinced about this Finnish dude. And if he fought last week should he really be fighting someone of AJs stature so soon after?
