Pre Ruiz one, he’d of took Wilder out inside 4 rounds. That wasn’t him giving it the big’un, that was relief been shown. To change mentality, game plan and a complete different style in space of 5 days, was always gonna be that type of performance. Like he said, he’s carried the heavyweight division and boxing to new heights in the past 10 years, and if he doesn’t knock someone out, he gets all abuse. All it was, was relief been shown at the end of that fight.Pre-Usyk I think Joshua would have beat Wilder. No chance now. He looked terrified to do anything and then gave it the big 'un about doing what he wanted to do...nah mate.

He done the same against Breazeale and a couple of others. This was before he was considered nervous and had fear. Don’t get me wrong, was I impressed with his performance? No. Do I think he’ll beat the top 3 heavyweights? No. He’s been boxing with far too much fear since the Klitschko fight. Maybe that fight took more out of him than we know, he hasn’t looked the same since. What made him special and exciting to watch, was his ferocious combination punching. Throwing shots from different angle and been able to find the range with ease. Maybe the step up in competition hasn’t helped and he was rushed to quickly.I disagree. Did you watch the weigh in? Was doing the same there. He's putting on this faux hard man image to try and negate his nerves/fear and it just comes across as cringy.

He did what he had to do on 5 days notice and had to adapt a very different skill set, different mind set and game plan. He was in completed control from the opening bell. Will it give him confidence going into the wilder fight? Doubt it.

I think Wilder knocks him out now just because of how cautious he is. Wilder doesn’t have the fear because he knows that one punch can switch any bodies lights out. Apart from that right hand, Wilder doesn’t do anything better than Joshua to be fair. Also, If Wilder backs off, he knows Joshua will come straight in. Joshua doesn’t really move his head but one thing is for sure, just like Wilder can knock Joshua out, if Joshua lands his right hand, he can end it too. It’s still a great exciting fight to watchFair, we can agree to disagree. I think Wilder will spark him, he doesn't have the same fear Joshua does.
Its happened about twice, maybe three times. its a bravado heavy sport. Not really. Plenty of boxers go in the ring, do their thing and come out humble and don't try to make themselves out as a big tough guy. They let their actions do the talking. There is no need for the cringy nonsense that AJ gets involved in at weigh-ins.
I disagree. It's possible to be the best boxer in the world or your division without being trying to be a 'hard man'.Its happened about twice, maybe three times. its a bravado heavy sport.
