Last time I heard him commentate was a long time ago. He used to do ESPN with Tim Bradley and those lower card ESPN fights back in the day. Didn’t mind him.

Don’t mind listening to him break down fights to be honest.

Basically with Sammy the bull, former underboss of Gambinos crime family, turned grass. Used to train with him and few of his fighters sparred with Gravano and was slaying him. Gravano basically called him out calling him a fake tough guy. Not heard a peep about it since. Funny guy. Plus how he was gonna shoot Tyson and so on.

I like Atlas, it's been a while as well, late night stuff at weekend in by some marina somewhere. Comms on prospects, 10 and 0's. Enthusiastic with that same drawl.

Great trilogy, still think Moralles won the second though, Zale-Graciano must have been up there too (least my uncle swore they were some of if the greatest fights he'd ever seen), sadly only grainy footage remains of the three fights now. Duran- Dejesus was a great trilogy too, first guy to defeat a peak Duran, first guy to put Duran down and in both the first two fights, DeJesus in any other era would have been remembered as an all time great - but Duran waa a force of nature at Lightweight. (Think all three are still available in decent quality - from the great fights of the 70s old TV series on boxing).

One of the best fights and my fave trilogy,

It quite odd to love both fighters in such a fierce rivalry, but I did.

Now we have chubby washed up UFC fighters and youtubers to headline events

That’s the one. Although I thought it was Rosie O’Donnel at first.

She’s a huge boxing fan. She’s been at many big fights and small show fights in the past. She’s very knowledgeable about the sport and fighters from what I’ve heard her speak on it in the past. Should stick to acting though cos commentary isn’t her thing.

By all accounts O'donnell has had a few scraps!

Just seen that Isreal Vazquez has passed away. One really good fighter and such an enjoyable style. Really enjoyed his fights against Rafael Marquez, think it was the third or fourth fight that was one of the best to watch. Such an underrated fight series between the two of them. R.I.P Izzy
