My lad got his mountain bike robbed off him on the Loop Line in Halewood this afternoon by two creatures on a moped with balaclavas on.

It's a Bergamont Roxter 4.0 if anyone gets offered it.

There's a reward.

I remember being told a story, supposedly true, about a Dutch missionary who was in Kanu, northern Nigeria (not far from the start of the Sahara desert). He had a generator which powered his needs which included a fridge on his verandah. On one particularly hot day he was having a cold beer on his verandah and opened the door of the fridge just enough to get his feet in. He fell asleep and apparently is the only person in Nigeria's history to be treated for frostbite at the local hospital.

Cheers mate, I really don`t understand the mentality of them at all.

Even though the bike cost £500, it`s well used and will be worth next to nothing.

" if " they get caught, they`ll do time, as it`s gone down as a robbery, all for what, £100 maximum.
