Great move all round.
Newcastle get a top class ,if inexperienced , defender at a small cost.
Galloway gets the experience he needs and won't get at Everton this season.
If he does well enough then he will come back and challenge.

I think that under Koeman people need to realise this is a different Everton.
I think he genuinely sees players as commodities. Loyalty means nothing, you are good enough and you do your job or you are out.

Remember when people's heads were falling off a few transfer windows back because Newcastle were 'moving ahead of us'. We're now loaning them our squad players.

Not keen on us helping Newcastle and Rafael out like.

But I guess sending Galloway to one of the best teams in the Championship will really help his development.

I feel like eating a Mars now.

Im 50-50 with this. Newcastle have just bought two new centre halfs Hanley and Cieron Clark and have made Lascelles captain this year. Galloway isnt going to get any game time at centre half which is where he needs to be playing. Will be great for him to play 35-40 games this year but would really like him to be doing so at CB. Think I would have sent him to Stubbsy but good look to him if he does go out on loan. There should definitely be no option to buy clause in any loan contract though. The lad is good enough for prem football now and will be a very good player for us.

Why would we give them an option to buy? What's happened to Everton this week :/ upsetting me right before the season kicks off.
