Brendan off to WBA for the season, on loan. Pleased that he's going there and not Newcastle. He will learn loads from Pulis' defensive approach which he will benefit from when he returns next year.

Newcastle wanted a loan move with a view to a permanent deal, which I thought they would! made up he's not going anywhere near that club.
Happy with that one. Glad there's no option to buy included

It's a great move at this stage of his career.

He will get plenty more Premier League experience and in a team that will defend more than it attacks. He will be coached in defending deep and competing more physically, which will compliment the elegant side of his game. It will toughen him up.

All this instead of festering in our U23 team and getting an occasional place on the bench. He will come back in one year's time hopefully ready to stake a claim in the first team and hopefully be a good alternative to Baines who will be one year older.

And the Geordie beauts will be pissed off.

Well in Everton.

So chuffed to hear this one! Shows his and our quality we can loan to a premier league side... Gives him a chance to prove he can cut this level.

Alot of people saying a great move. I actually question wether it is.
Pulis dosent have a track record of playing inexpereinced youngsters a try (Gnabry & Pritchard both went on loan there recently), i think he would much rather play a big clogger of a centre back at left back then risk galloway making a mistake. And if galloway does play and makes a mistake then he wil be straight out! He drains young players confidence (Berahino) and would much prefer a 29 year old "sleeves up" player he can trust.
Hopefully he dosent transform brendan into liam ridgewell

Can I just take this moment to Lol further at Newcastle and how utterly dogshit they are.

Remember when they tried looking down their nose at us as "everyone's fave second team"?

Right back down where you belong, you half Scottish scruffy lizards. Bow your head when you address us in future and ever forget it.

Well, not sure I would put across like that, however, there arrogance of being a big and major club amuses me, they have not won a major title in my lifetime and are in and out of top flight football for decades now. This continued belief of being big is probably more to do with ownership and overlap from unique business principles in other interests.
Anway, good move for Galloway, positional play and putting himself about on the pitch will be perfect learning.

....definitely but it's RKs opinion that counts.
I presume if there isn't an option to buy, then he wont be allowed to play against us.
We should also be in a position to recall him at a moments notice should anything, perish the thought, happen to our very own monument known as Leighton baines.
That also means he can shunt seven bells out of TRS when he plays against them. Now, that's gotta be good.

.....I prsume if he goes we won't be recalling him. I also fear Baines might be a bit more injury prone these days. Perhaps RK isn't a big fan of Galloway, I can't see him being released unless the manager has a preferred option as back up.
