I am happy enough to see him go to West Brom and get 30 games for them rather than stay here and get less than 10 for us. Will come back a better player for it next season.

I'm sure there would be an option to recall him in the deal.
Doubt it the deal when he was off to Newcastle was a million pound to pay his wages, and a small loan fee, Remeber this lad when fit kept the left back berth his own only injury put him out of the team - Ovideo was playing great till his double leg break - Let's hope Galloway can retrieve the same form of fitness on his day he is as good as Holgate!

....definitely but it's RKs opinion that counts.

Think of it this way.

Who is going to benefit more from regular first-team football at this point?

Galloway will have a better chance of getting that at West Brom than at Everton, and it will aid his development.

Oviedo doesn't really need any developing, but is more than adequate as a back up

Its a good move for Galloway, mate of mine is a baggies fan and under Pulis they consistently play 4 CB's across the back line, Galloway will be more suited to that LB role for them as he fits the bill for Pulis in terms of height but will also be a bit better going forward compared to Evans or whoever they play there.

Perfect manager to learn the defensive aspects from aswell.

.....confirmed as happening. I agree it's a fine move for the lads development but I fear it leaves us weaker if Baines is injured. I'm not sure the addition of Kone or any of our other CBs provides the LB cover we need, Oviedo looks brittle to me but RK must feel we are ok and that's what matters.

good move from the club. Galloway will come back stronger and more defensively minded next year, which is good for us.

Possibly a back 3 of williams holgate and galloway next season?

Oviedo is a very suitable back up to Baines. Hopefully his injuries are behind him now and he can move on with his career. Mori can also play left back if my memory serves me right.
