Well get rid of Baines then as Galloway kept him out the team last season the same situation we may have with Holgate and Coleman very soon?

Probably because Baines was struggling with an ankle issue last year. Baines is a quality player and is hopefully over that issue now.

On Holgate, he looks a better full-back than Galloway did, for me. Seems to be at least as good defensively and is a better footballer, so offers more going forward.

Short memory mate Galloway was as impressive at left back as Holgate is at right back now!

That leaves us with tons of cover if Baines gets injured then!lol

Aye - Komean doesn't seem a gambler, so have wodnered what the idea is in case Baines does get an injury - go with a back 3 with Bolasie as wingback (shudder), Use Mori as a left back - Lesctt flashbacks (shudder again) or if he reckons one of the young lads is ready to go should we need them

Disagree 100%. He got up and down really well and so got into good positions up top but I thought his quality in the final third was nowhere near what Holgate seems to be capable of.

I agree... Not skating him, I think he's going to make a decent prem defender and if we really kicks on... Possible international? But holgate looks so much more natural going forward and thought he handled crouch very well yesterday

Lescott was probably better at left back than Centre half from my own memory mate,kept Baines out initially.

Galloway also got poretty badly exposed in the City game - pulled off at half time from what i remember, and in the Stoke game when Shaqiri mullered him for two goals mate,

A few quotes from West brom fans forum at half time;

This is dire, so boring. Two positives are field and Galloway

Galloway looks a real talent

Galloway looks useful - can defend and get forward !!

Phillips looking poor, McClean, Field and Galloway all playing well.

Look mate you see a different game where Galloways concerned on this post if he was that bad last season why did he keep his place till injury with Baines on the bench most blues were gutted when he got injured!

You've mentioned this injury a fair few times mate, but maybe i do remember things different as i don't actually remember him getting this injury that all blues where gutted about at all, in fact i don't remember him getting any injury which forced him out the team at all.

and he didn't keep his place until an injury forced him out the team, he kept the place whilst Baines was recovering from an injury, once he had done he went straight back into the team and quite soon afterwards the manager had him playing in the academy games again.

Sure you aren't getting him confused with Browning?
