We've dropped over £30m on Donkey McNeil and Neal NotGoodEnoughForBrighton, plus another £30m on Onana (who will no doubt be great); so the argument that we're skint holds less and less water with every passing joke signing.

But we haven't. We have dropped 4m on mcneil and 8m on onana. We have likely dropped around 6/7m on maupay as well.

We are skint in the sense that we have to make structured deals and can't just buy whoever we want because many clubs don't want to structure.

A lot to be happy with there. We still lack any presence up top which is disappointing seen as there’s three of them, but there’s signs of us getting better. A point will do us good for now, shame we don’t have a win yet but it will come.

Huge part of our problems. This system needs both those positions to be attacking threats and defensively solid. They both have too many holes in their game for the position they are playing in.

Never ceases to amaze me that judging by some of the comments, you'd think we're the only club on earth that buys players on structured deals to maximize our available budget yet we magically receive the full fee upfront from every club buying any of our players to allow us to do this.

From Madrid to Macclesfield, structured transfers in and out have been the norm for a long, long time I'm sure.

Did alright with no striker again, we're just terrible at trying to hold onto leads in the last 10-15 minutes of games, Patterson & Iwobi completely switched off for the goal

Hard fought point away at a team bouyed by a 4-0 battering of United.
Strikerless but created a few chances.
They hit the woodwork 3 times and equalised with a few minutes to go.
Holgate withdrawn injured.
Loads moaning and suggesting Frank is on borrowed time.

A midfield 3 of Iwobi Onana and Gana would be good. I just can’t see Frank and Kev changing the 5 at the back. even tho I think they should. I just think that’s the plan and they are going to stick to it. I don’t think we have the full backs for it but am not the manager.
