Was there yesterday and we played worse than we did v spurs no movement and very one paced hate to say it but Colman is championship level now Walcott is poor and I’m better than niasse

We've had seven games in December, and have two more next week. Manchester City, Spurs and Arsenal all have nine games in December, after a midweek European game at the end of November.

That's why players are looking so tired, managers are making so many changes and there have been so many shock results. The exception are Liverpool. After losing at PSG at the end of November, they have won all eight games in December. Goals for 23, goals against 3. That is simply astonishing. Their next game is home to Manchester City.

In January, we play Lincoln in the FA Cup, with an opportunity to win a place in the 4th Round, two rivals in Leicester and Bournemouth, and two strugglers in Southampton and Huddersfield. It's a good chance to make up some lost ground.

I knew the result before I started watching the recording, but I turned it off in disgust when Keane couldn't even get a simple header which he should've
buried on target about ten minutes in. I don't think we've had any luck this season, but the truth is we're not that good. Certainly nowhere near as good
as I thought a few weeks ago.

Richarlison is not a centre forward.
Bernard is our most dangerous player when he had the ball yet we hardly got it to him.
Walcott is dire. His touch is woeful.
Coleman has seen better days.

More positively though, Pickford was quality yesterday as were the 3 centre halves. Gauye was strong too.

A frustrating match, but on another day we could have won by a couple of goals. Brighton are not a good team and relied upon set pieces throughout the game. We hit the woodwork twice and Brighton's goal scorer was clearly offside if the ball hadn't hit Gomes' knee. Did we do enough to win? No, but we didn't deserve to lose in my opinion.

What a shambles the Amex Stadium is, your not allowed to park near the ground so we had to park our minibus miles away then get the train in, everyone else also has to do this so the train out is absolutely packed after the game, a totally ridicilous place to build a stadium. A terrible performance by the blues aswell, incredible how Walcott is still starting games for us.

No choice on where the Stadium was built.
It took 15 years to get permission, money and construction completed at Falmer! The actual construction itself has won many awards and admirers - but I can understand your frustration about the lack of infrastructure and limited transport around the ground.

While I like a manager to stick to his guns and not be influenced by outside factors surely Silva has to drop Walcott. Apart from the fact that he isn't contributing to the team in any meaningful way surely it can't be any good for him to be exposed week in week out. The time has come to get him out of the firing line and see if they can get him playing.
I have also seen it reported that Silva is sick of being told we need a centre forward. He may be sick of it but it is true. We are also wasting Richarlson playing him centrally, why buy a winger for a fortune and then negate his effectiveness by playing him out of position.
We seem to be on a never ending cycle of buying a few good players and then being forced to play out of position because we won't commit to putting the finances in place to complete the job. We are a good way down the road to being a top side but now is the time to press forward and put the money in place to finish the job or the investment which has been made will once again be wasted and we will be forever mid-table dross.

Won't be going back. Evertonians want a quick get away available from an inevitably dire away performance and result and that ground does not provide it. Having to wait for ages after the game to get away from the ground and then a 5+ hr drive back isn't an enticing prospect.

Night King, you look like you have been around for a looong time, and have seen some truly terrible things: on the basis of that, I will defer to your vast insights.

You don't know the half of it mate.

Was looking forward to taking some scalps over the winter period but a load of other Johnny come latelys have thrown a spanner in the works.
