I'd prefer to see him in midfield though. Our LB position is never going to be filled with anybody aside from Baines but pienaar is flexible enough to play central, right or even behind the striker if Ovideo comes in and does well in midfield.
If Baines gets injured it would be good to know something about how Oviedo might play in his position. Tonight might be an opportunity to give him some experience there.
That wont be a bad bet.

Thought he was okay, he will put in better performances im sure of that. Thought in the first half Gueye didnt help him out at all, for someone making his first start they will need all the help they can get and Gueye gave him nothing.
