He was miles better tha Pianeer today but I bet he is dropped for the Arsenal game if Felli & Marallis return!
Pienaar got more wrong but he also did a lot more. I'd rather have a player who gave away the ball poorly four or five times but touched the ball 40 times than one who drifted out of the game so much.

I think Pienaar needs benching to shake him up a bit but we can't afford to do it until Mirallas is back. When we signed Oviedo I expected him to look like a fullback playing on the wing, but he does look like a winger. It seems like he could offer us more of an option than Gueye.

He was our best player by far its just that in the 2nd half he had to go hunting the ball instead of the flowing stuff in the 1st..Hes got everything Piennars got plus a good final ball.
I'd put his performance behind Baines, Osman and Naismith to be honest.
