How exactly do you propose they make that work? That would run the season into late June/early July. Next season starts the first week of August to accommodate the World Cup. Surely a five week offseason isn’t workable.

The PL are going to get as many in over the Christmas period.

Newcastle are still playing in two days time. I can see us playing them, tbh.

Why? We’re struggling to field a team due to COVID and injuries. Each to their own, but my enjoyment shouldn’t be the detriment of the players health and well-being.

We weren't struggling. We have an U23 team.
