I'd love to blame the RS but apparently Leeds requested the postponement.

They have a load of injuries too, i reckon it suitted them both

We have 5 players with Covid, and our request got rejected.
Meanwhile, Chelsea had to play vs Wolves with 7 positive cases.
Just makes no sense

It's not about how many test positive, it's about the number still available.

I think though that (if its Godfrey, Doucs and Pickford) would have got it called off though - we can't replace those players given the injuries, given what the squad was vs Chelsea.

It sounds more like it is players who weren't playing (vs Chelsea), so the justification for calling it off no more exists now than it did then.

Benitez did talk about only having three keepers, nine first team players and five young players, which could just mean the same squad as against Chelsea (with the first team players being all but one of Kenny, Holgate, Keane, Godfrey, Iwobi, Doucs, Gomes, Allan, Coleman and Gbamin and the young players Branthwaite, Simms, Gordon, Dobbin and Onyango).
