Imagine if the only change compared to Chelsea is that Iwobi has COVID but Gray is available

Burnley 0 Everton 3 (Simms, Dobbin, Digne)

(match delayed on 83 minutes due to Everton manager self-combusting on touchline)

Wouldnt mind seeing Dobbin if he does what he has done for the u18s/u23s and the little touches in the 1st team,

I wouldn't - as said far too often I think him (and the rest of those who came in against Chelsea) should have been given far more of a chance this autumn. Even if they don't work out, at least they might have given Rondon / Coleman / whoever a kick up the arse.

I was happy when someone in the P/C asked the boss why he had not used some of them already for 1st team etc, with the Boss saying he knew about the like's of Dobbin & co, instead of nothing getting said

Everton are paying a political price here: this Tory Government are determined to keep places open for commercial reasons and not create an atmosphere where everyone is spooked that things are not well - and if a whole raft of Boxing Day games were postponed again that's what would happen.

The losses we have with Covid are ridiculous and handing postponements to other clubs who had the same or less does not tally.

Probably why it is not called off yet is becasue Benitez said 5 tested positive after Chelsea, so they might test negative before the Burnely game.
Also i wonder if for example we count DCL as one of the 6 injured, the PL might say he is fit if included in the matchday squad.

Erm, all the clubs had a meeting and agreed to carry on.

This is the match day thread, so no politics please.
