That's the thing, if we field the same team against Burnley that started against Chelsea then you can see why we were knocked back. I'll reserve my fume till I see our line - up Sunday.

That's the funny thing mate, loads thinking the prem are helping them out when in reality it isn't because as you say they will have to fit the game into a congested calendar whilst Man City will have the points already on the board so pressure on the RS.

To me it reads as essentially the same squad that went to Chelsea with the additions of Digne and DCL. If that’s the case, you can see why the request was rejected.

It’s far from ideal but a scratch team went to Chelsea and dogged a result out. With the introduction of Digne and DCL (yes, 2 months out and that) to the team there’s no reason we can’t get something from this against, let’s face it, a crap Burnley side.

But the LC extra games, AFCON and now this delay to the Leeds game just copper fastens it.
