To me it reads as essentially the same squad that went to Chelsea with the additions of Digne and DCL. If that’s the case, you can see why the request was rejected.

It’s far from ideal but a scratch team went to Chelsea and dogged a result out. With the introduction of Digne and DCL (yes, 2 months out and that) to the team there’s no reason we can’t get something from this against, let’s face it, a crap Burnley side.

Not so sure the squad is the same as Chelsea game...it seems that 3 players from that squad at least will not be available...the question is who are those players...

I certainly hope so, but I can't escape the image of Richarlison getting clobbered by that prick at Goodison earlier this season.

Wouldn't be so bad if it were another Chelsea type opponent - (assuming) losing when expected to - but to not give us a fair crack at a weak Burnley side when we are down to bare bones? Are Leeds down to 8 men or something that's stopping them getting a pasting at The Pit (and giving the RS a day off)..
