Busting our balls [Vadis odjidja ofoe]

Maybe the 5 days suggests we have already appealed it & lost.

It's disappointing because we have a small squad and although many haven't seen him play it gives us hope when we sign highly regarded young players.

In January, half the season is gone and lets face it, money set aside at Everton has a habit of evaporating.

Not blaming the club for this, but I can see why people are disappointed.

Nothing we can do however except hope that someone else steps up in our squad and surprises everyone by breaking into the team, that'll be down to attitude and not any amateur chalkboard line-ups of 4-1-4-1 or 4-2-3-1 or whatever.

Do you think those bunch of **** are double-standard? We should at least make an appeal.

I suspect we already appealed and lost, hence the 5 days. But yes, I reckon if this was UTD or Chelsea or Madrid it would've passed.

If all the FA's passed it then I don't understand FIFA 's motive.

Its ok to blame FIFA because their decision didn't go our way but Transfer day didn't start at 10.30pm on August 31st.

True, but it closed at 11pm on that day after the deal was done, with both the FA and the Premier League giving it the thumbs up.

Not saying FIFA are to blame, but as they are one of the,if not the most corrupt global sports organisation going, people do have some grounds to be a bit iffy over everything. At the least.

Agreed about FIFA, but we new we needed another player, so why leave yourself very little time to complete it. FIFA haven't just decided to say no, there must be a reason.

True, but lots of clubs, players and agents like to keep options open for as long as possible to get the best deal.

If the FA, PL or Belgian FA had rejected it then fair enough, but the deal seemed good enough for everyone else, it's strange to say the least.

You do have a point though.

FIFA want to weaken us that is for sure. Everton said they will consider "all available options". What can they do, shall we take the case to EU court (in case we have found old cases to prove FIFA are double-standard in this scenario)?

If you don't give them a reason to refuse the deal they can't do it. I know the transfer deadline scramble is exciting but why take the chance of leaving it so late and getting yourself into a situation we have.

Maybe the agent of Vadis hold out the best deal as well. Who knows? I blame FIFA cos if we are Man Utd they would turn a blind eye.

Have FIFA ever change their initial decision before? Is there any other club which succeed in making an appeal?

I can't see the FIFA official sat at his desk ready to stamp approved, then saying: hold on a minute it's everton. REFUSED.

I would expect that sort of conspiracy theory from our friends across the park.

So why the deal was refused when all parties concerned were happy except FIFA? And it took ages for them to make such decision.

Everton issued a statement on the club's official website which read: "The decision comes despite both the Football Association and Premier League giving their full support to the loan agreement and Everton lodging the relevant signed paperwork in advance of the international transfer deadline on August 31."

We did it on time mate, in spite of the scramble. The scramble is 'the norm'. Anyone complaining about the way the club pulled Fellaini out of the hat right at the death of the window (first anyone heard about that was early next morning)? Thought not....

Some you win,some you lose.
