There have been some issues with signing players, some of that is down to the club and its finances, some to the manager at that particular time and some will just be that bad luck that happens to all teams.

But we've also signed others like Lukaku and Deulofeu, overall think our transfer record is good tbh.

You would think no other team loses out to other clubs in transfer dealings

Byram may want to return down South and thought he had to much to do to displace Coleman. Don't think we really need cover for RB spend the money elsewhere.

Let's be honest, if there's a chance between playing second fiddle to Coleman and starting every week for a decent London club, you're only ever picking one thing. Don't blame the lad at all, he's chosen them because he knows he'll get more game time and improve. Would've been a very good signing for squad depth but the player is doing what's best for the player here. Not a bigger club than us, just more playing time.

I think the fact that West Ham can offer a player who's played in the Championship automatic first team football and we can't should say all you need to know about the two sides.

They're doing well, and we're underachieving. But Coleman is one of the best in the league.
