I wonder what he's finishing is like. Could be a suprise attacking midfielder with also a bit of a tackle and aggression in his tool box. Has the pace.

I think his best position is in a back 3 personally. I don't like that formation but playing as one of the wide centre backs allows us to utilise his pace whilst still having the defensive cover of two alongside him.

The one player who’s scared with the ball at his feet should not be near any midfield. You need to be comfortable with the ball in tight spaces and he definitely isn’t so a massive no from me.

I think he can do a job in Midfield, I don’t think that’s his position but I could see him stepping in. To me I see Godfrey as a Phil Neville type, more of a utility player. Not sure what his best position is but he has a good engine at least.

You’ll ruin another kids potential like we did to holgate. You can’t keep putting these players at right back, left back, centre half, centre mid, they’ll start to question themselves as a player thinking they aren’t good enough for the position they were signed for so they just get thrown anywhere. Honestly think this is what’s happened to holgate, he’s been played in that many positions his head has gone. Please don’t do the same to Godfrey. Need to develop youngsters better than we have.

No chance. He's got no technique. I mean he would literally have to be just breaking up play and passing the ball on short all the time but personally I just don't think he's a premier league player regardless of what position he plays in

What's he like in the middle moving the ball under pressure, different out wide.
What's he like passing under pressure, in the middle.
Why mess with him even more?
Its not like he's been developing at Ajax where they played Frenkie De Jong at CB for a season.
Needs to nail down a CB position and my money would be on him to do that if given the chance.

Should be Godfrey and Mina or Godfrey and Braithwaite for the rest of season come what may
