If Ancelotti comes its not going to be a long term thing. If he is here in 18 months and doing a decent job then as soon as a bigger club is needing a manager he will be off with his kicks round his ankles. As good as he is, I don't think he is the right fit. The money will be ridiculous. Anyone thinking that Ancelotti automatically means the likes of James etc are going to be coming at the bit to sign are deluded. I'd rather the club were honest with its position and brought in Howe to build something.

To be honest it should be Dunc till the end of the season and see where the club is then.

Well yeah but if he is such a superstar manager he would have:

A. Won more trophies when he was at city and Madrid

B. Managed more ‘superstar’ clubs and therefore been challenging for more trophies

He was in Madrid for one season, won a record points haul, but got sacked anyway as they finished second to arguably the best team in history!
