When you have spent the best part of 2 decades managing mostly top clubs and winning pretty much everything there is to win, it must be extremely tempting and refreshing to be offered a chance to manage a club that has a really good history but has been on a downer for a long time and is owned by a billionaire who has promised to give you as much money and power as is required to bring said club back to the top.

It was a done deal from the beginning and i doubt he was ever even interested in going anywhere else at the time, probably would have had a years holiday.

Watching him on the touchline and in charge of our team on boxing day is going to be the most exciting day in about 25 years for me.
You tell em lid. Superb post.

His managed 5 clubs in the last decade.
He has come in to build a side asap if he gets sacked he still gets his 40m.

He has never done any project like this, which is why he would of demanded a massive pay check and transfer funds.
By the end of the summer I expect us to be alongside city and united in money spent
Really can't see that. Klopp said that he wouldn't buy success.

All those doubting Thomases need to ask themselves the simple question:
Given the choice between hiring a vastly experienced guy who knows what a winning team looks like or hiring an apprentice unknown or worse a proven clueless loser, who would you hire?

Gonna have to give me some time on that one mate.

Probably more of the same that it's getting elsewhere I fear

It's amazing how biased the media is against us sometimes

We are a club that hasnt won a trophy in a whole generation. Im baffled why people think we are relevant.

Last time Everton won a trophy I was a young carefree man. Now I have 3 kids and a Grandson.

Why would the media care about us.
