The injured players are the same. Schneiderlin is close to recovery - he'll start training with the team today and could be available for Sunday. Gomes and Gbamin need time to recover but things are going well for them

I was surprised by the spirit of the team. The work that Duncan [Ferguson] did was really good because he increased the spirit.

After the 5th of January we will have a meeting with the club and see if it is impossible to improve the squad. It is, in my opinion, a good squad

I think that the moment is good for us. It’s good to have this kind of test but also against Liverpool. We have to be happy with trying to compete with the top teams in England and Europe.

Liverpool have won all of the games. That is why (Man City trail). It is a fantastic run but maybe Man City aren’t at the same level as last year. That’s the difference.
They remain a fantastic team with fantastic players and a fantastic manager.
