Yeah exactly mate. And if these reports are true that the players had the nerve to question Carlo after the game. Then where the hell was that passion in the game.

I hope the players have questioned carlo cos they will have exposed themselves and they can leave. Fancy questioning a manager who won everything within weeks. These players cant even win a game when they go down 1

I'm sure Ancelotti wasn't telling Sigurdsson to hide behind their midfielders or telling Walcott to boot easy passes into the crowd or telling Digne to go round kicking everyone. Horrible scum bags our players.

It's because they are rubbish and wont be able to play what carlo want, you have to be able to pass and move. They want an easy ride at our club

I genuinely dislike all of them you know. There's no one I actually like in that squad, just varying degrees of disdain. At one end of the scale someone like Richarlison who I'm ambivalent towards but think is one of our least hateable players, to the other end where you've got Morgan Schneiderlin who just makes me feel ill every time I look at him. Everyone else is just somewhere in the middle of that greyscale.

Every single senior player who questioned Ancelotti should never play for the club again.

They have some nerve. They didn't try their best. They were out worked, out ran and out thought.

Of course Ancelotti could have done better. But to question a 3 time CL winner after under 2 weeks is actually disgraceful and shows how dire their attitudes are.

The sign of a true no mark is always looking to blame someone else for your own failures. That's what these players are: NO MARKS.

it’s nothing to do with tactics that our players couldn’t hit a barn door from 10 yards in the first half. Confidence drained out of them second half. That’s character not tactics.

As others have said, this group of players have done the same thing countless times for Silva. They are the common denominator in all this.

Boyland and O'Keefe's article in the athletic today has Ferguson spending 25 minutes with the players in the dressing room on sunday and "senior players" blaming tactics and set up for being unable to pass the ball forward or find a man or put 3 passes together.

Some of em have just signed their release there, I reckon.

Actually speechless reading the article. They’re blaming the manager for not being able to string together 5 yard passes. Sounds like these “senior pros” know their time is nigh and that they won’t get away with their underperforming and crap attitudes any longer.

Can’t wait to see what the squad looks like on Saturday, hoping for a few notable omissions. My money is on Delph and Schneiderlin being particularly petulant. Can’t imagine Gylfi or Walcott were too vociferous but they’d of been full of excuses I’m sure.

Everton lose to Man City and Liverpool and the rags start with Everton players not accepting/buying into Ancelotti?

Come on. "What one positive do Everton have? The manager? OK lets target that"

The dressing room was likely a world away from Silva's 'no raised voices' and likely plenty of finger pointing but the angle of undermining Ancelotti is a complete nonsense.
In ancelotti book, Zlatan said..when something goes bad great players accept the responsibility and blame...Bad players blame everyone else... there your answer.
Ancelotti can set up a team with the greatest tactics ever but when your most expensive player, only touches the ball 35 times in 60 odd minutes after a few ago in the same stadium not touch it for 21 minutes. The same 47 million pound player who made 1 tackle and won 0 aerial duels, whats he ment to do?

I don't think anybody - nobody at all - can lay any blame whatsoever at Ancelotti for the defeats to City and Liverpool. He played the strongest team available to him, albeit made up of players proven way out of their depth at this level, and even put an attacking line up (on paper) out against Liverpool's reserve under 21s.

He took off players who were stinking the place out, namely Sigurdsson and Walcott, yet even their replacements barely had a touch of the football. Richarlison visibly game up after about 70 minutes, and who can blame him with those players behind him?

If he isn't given substantial funds and the chance to offload a large chunk of these players then, even if we're relegated, he should bear zero blame. Not even Klopp could get a tune out of this squad. In fact, there will have been no point at all in getting Ancelotti if he isn't given the opportunity to revamp the squad entirely.

Always dubious of these stories because how can they even know this?

But if there is any truth I hope it sees whoever questions out the door or with the u23s

In all honesty, If they showed total apathy while Dunc was raging at them, that would say a whole lot more than if a few had a go back.

If any manager (regardless of pedigree) had a pop at a Footballers work ethic, I'd be really disappointed if they didn't bite back.

It's the bare minimum that's expected, the players are obviously frustrated (as are the fans, the manager, the board) but this, to me anyway, clearly shows that there is massive miscommunication running throughout the club.
