It was downhill once Coleman came on. It should have been gordon. With davies the shape completely went and he's mediocre. Then came the final nail in the coffin niasse. The players still should have just retained possession though with sideways passes they excel doing that normally.

I don't actually agree that the Coleman sub was wrong. We played fine after it.

It was the Davies sub and the Niasee one. No need.

Bernard could have been a straight swap for Gordon, then you can do another in the death of injury time if needed.

I like Carlo and respect him
But I’ve said it before and I still believe it
We should have taken a longer term view and a risk and gone for Arteta

What was the Seamus on for Moise sub all about?

It looked weird to me.

And sommat straight out of the Moyes playbook.

A team offering nowt in attack and porous at the back.

Yet we fetch on a defender for an attacker when we are well on top.
Really was moyes-esque as is playing for the win by sitting back every game

But we went far to deep once coleman came on and lost a very important outlet in the process.

Exactly that's all we needed. Nothing needed to change except fresh legs like for like

Personally, I think you’ll see this more often now. It’s a learning curve about what players can and can’t do. I think he’ll now know that Tom Davies cannot go on the left

My sticking point so far with Ancelotti is that, given his experience and what he's won, he should know better.

He shouldn't still be working this squad out. He should know it. It shouldn't take this long, given what he's done in the game.

And Marcel Brands, I'm sorry but I've had it up to here with the fella. We should have been ready to go in the market in the first week of January. We've known what was needed for ages.

Someone on the Kean sub said he asked to get subbed off

The last thing we need is uncertainty

Carlo at least gives us a mature seasoned outlook

My point is mate Carlo Ancelotti - a three-time CL winner and someone who has managed the world's biggest clubs and best players - should really know this already.

We all do.
