Not blaming the subs, would just have expected them to be better.

I wouldn't, theres no options off the bench

Naisse is the only strike option, Davies is the only CM, We have 2 kids to come on to replace the wingers

It's like giving Gordon Ramsey dog turds to cook with then complaining it tastes like sh1t

Played well, the players messed it up, we are not getting Europe or getting relegated.

Enjoy the break

It's frustrating now as unfortunately we were 90 seconds away from heading into 10 days off in a very good position and in form.

And we know how weak these players are and we've got to head to a difficult ground to face a team which Pearson has got playing in a way which will feed off our weaknesses (i.e. no physicality in midfield, they've got three monsters in there).

Ancelotti was utterly incompetent against possibly the worst Newcastle side seen here for years. Nobody in the football ground would have made those subs. The game was won and decent players taken off for trash like Davies and Oumar. The subs caused disarray and signalled surrender and Newcastle took it. Ancelotti should apologise. Top manager my backside. No excuse whatever.

Steady on.

He's a world class manager, made an error but he's used to managing teams that understand he basics of the game to be fair.

Right, but tonight mate why did Niasse come on?

I'm not saying it was that change that did for us but come on. In that situation, 2-0 up at home, why is he bringing on Niasse? Why not Gordon? Give the lad a run out at home and the crowd something to cheer about.

Not saying we wouldn't have thrown it away like we did. But you can't tell me that wasn't a poor sub, whichever way you look at it.

that I’ll put on him. Personally I’d say it was his raw pace to keep their line pushed back, it was stupid

it’s the Davies one, hI’m and Pickford weredirectly at fault. And like I’ve said, I’d be very very surprised if he we see Davies anywhere near that side again, I’d imagine Gordon to be the go to for when Bernard tires

The fewming on here is laughable , yeah we were not at the races for the full 90 + whatever was allowed for them to equalise but all due respect to most of you mouth pieces would you sooner have The Portuguese [Poor language removed] back at the helm ?
I know where I’m nailing my colours to the mast !

Forza azzuri

Davies came on at 82 mins, Newcastle hardly touched the ball between then and us folding at 94mins

Not sure how that sub and a striker coming on is the catalyst for us crumbling inside 90 secs

Anyone blaming Ancelotti at this point should really have a word with themselves.

He's been here exactly 1 month today. He took over an absolute mess of a squad that was hobbled together over the previous 3-4 years, with 4 failed managers and 2 directors of football, has barely had any time to work with the players, maybe 2 full weeks of training. He has injuries to several key players and we've played 7 games 26 days, which is a game less than every 4 days.

Today, we absolutely dominated that game, and looked to be closing it out professionally. He could not legislate for that horror show that came after, and he will be as angry as anyone else.

The last thing we need at the moment is to start the anti-Carlo brigade. This is an intelligent man, with loyalty and integrity, a man who has been successful everywhere he has been. And he could be the best thing to happen to this club in a long, long time. But he needs time and support.

If you want to blame anyone tonight, you blame the players who couldn't hold on for 2 minutes. More precisely, the idiot goalkeeper whos tiny brain and massive ego won't allow him to control his temperament and close out a game the opposition were never in.

Im as angry and as bewildered as anyone after what i saw tonight, but anyone who is pointing that anger at the manager is just bang out of order.
