So weird how we we're "effective" before the wall was brought in and scored for fun.

I think we also need to be fair and look at how injuries have effected us since the early days in the season. The wall only really come about as a result of us losing Coleman to a hamstring injury and Digne being out for almost a month and a half forcing us to play centre half’s as fullbacks and then losing Allan for 3 months, James not being 100% and in and out all season. We even had Alex Iwobi playing right back at one point. Having to reshuffle the team constantly to keep up with the quick run of games with little space between hasn’t helped either.

Had we all those players available all season there’s a good possibility the type of football we were playing may have continued.

The fact Andre Gomes and Sigurdsson have played more games than Allan & James and the fact that Holgate has played more games at RB than Coleman says it all really.

He has to pick 11. We dont have 11 good players available at the moment.

These players are letting us down year after year and need to be moved on.

They've gone through enough managers haven't they. And all of them won't play under a better manager than Carlo.

Davies been brushed off the ball cost us a goal.
Richy, iwobi and King offering no threat cost us.
Allan been done up like a kipper didn't help.
Both full backs offering no attacking threat cost us.
Richarlison had 2 good shots early.

those 3/4 chances that dcl messed up....they was goal scoring chances from midfield and full backs. He scores half of them, we win and everyones job is done.

He should begin have started it .....Josh King ? A winger ?

King didn't do much when he came on unfortunately.

The Iwobi decision turned out to be a mistake but the player has to take responsibility. He made a scene about playing in the middle, was given the chance, and didn't perform. The player only has himself to blame.

Generally, I give him a lot of leeway because of the quality of the squad, but he deserves a lot of criticism for that today.

A narrow midfield when you've got a centre-half playing full-back doesn't make sense, and picking a dud like Iwobi in a position where he's completely unproven, basically because of an Instagram post, is just ridiculous.
