The game has changed? from what? too what, exactly that a man who has been involved in it all the time hasn't noticed. It hasn't changed, what has changed is players earning too much money and have no hunger too win trophies.
The way teams play now is different than it was in 2007 or even 2014.

There are still eleven players on each side a ball and 2 sets of goalposts, the idea is to outscore your opponent. What is the difference now, tactics, a lot of which have ruined the excitement in the game. Players are more rigid in they have to follow tactics to the letter at the detriment of excitement. but the aim of the game has not changed at all.

There is no plan B with Carlo, seems we play the same way every match, he could get away with that at Juve, Milan, Real, PSG because he had the best players at his disposal and plenty of bonafied match winners that could get a goal out of nothing, now his coaching here is more glaring when he doesn't have the players to win him games consistantly.

Let’s all praise the club that’s spend a fortune, pays a manager one of the world’s highest managerial wages and doesn’t progress.

When the club gets something right, I will praise them. Go take a look at my comments in the new stadium thread, you tosser.

It would be interesting if a news outlet did a ‘Pounds per point’ analysis of all managers in the Premier League based on their performance and earnings.

I think we all know Lord Ancelotti would be near the bottom of that table.

Thats twice youve called me a 'tosser'.

Instead of a 'pounds per point' in a 'news outlet' how about you copy/paste your comments into RAWK and see if they agree or disagree with you?

That may be an eye opening experience and something you may care to share on this forum...

I really do wonder how someone can have such a negativity about 90% of the club and knee jerk every single day.

Quite astounding that someone can be so negative about one of the best managers in world football and a team which is...

...a game in hand win away from Europe.

Nothing will change until we sort our injury position out. Every week we need to be seeing Allan Docuoure James Godfrey Richalrison Digne DCL on the team sheet, week in week out. This season though it’s a rarity to see Alan or James at all, and we’ve somehow had both Digne and Doucoure breaking bones.

Without the fitness of top players any manager would have difficulty. It’s plagued every manager back to and including Moyes. Everyone gets knocks but we have seasons like the one Liverpool is having all the time.

I was banned from RAWK many years ago for saying that Rafael Benitez had a few good years but was past his best. And he won the Kopites a European trophy in his second season with them.

It looks and feels similar here when it comes to criticism around CA. How dare one of us not rate him? He’s the best manager we could ever get apparently.

The simple fact is that he hasn’t achieved anything with Everton and our style of football looks dated, drab and dire.

We need to give him another season for sure - but let’s not get all cultist over a manager. I support Everton not Carlo Ancelotti.
I'm glad, as a new poster, that after circling the pool for so long, you've chosen, not to dip your toe into posting, but cannonball into the deep end.

So how it is played has changed. Glad we're on the same page.
