Same, I didn't give Allardyce a chance, didn't want him here, couldn't wait for him to go.
He got his team to wallop Chelsea and bring their run to an end.

They're both points that I'm making.Agree to much of your analysis. But two points to raise - To have TWO "strikers " off the bench on a par or better than DCL and Richy would cost mega money. Point 2. - Pep walked in to a lot better squad than Carlo did and the promise of ready money to burn.
Fair question. We have another two seasons and two transfer windows with a reasonable investment and no further progress then absolutely I would be questioning the manager.Sincere question ! If he gets another 17 months and two big summer transfer windows and we still don't make top five would your thoughts be the same? How long would you give him?
HIs future performance as West Brom's manager had no bearing on my thinking at the time.He got his team to wallop Chelsea and bring their run to an end.
Yes we have made progress this season and yes the squad isn't good enough, and yes no home fans hasn't helped. But its extraordinary circumstances and we had a chance to gate crash the top four or at least top six and we are blowing it. That's the mind numbing frustration. I agree Carlo needs time to build his own team but he is a coach who needs good players can we provide him with them? And will we get another golden chance like this? Not sure. Just feel like there is a lack of a winners mentality with Everton and has been since I started watching them in the early 90s.Been the closest we have been at this stage of the season the champions league in 15 years.
YOU MENTALISTS
And its only bloody Carlo Ancelotti in charge. One the best managers in the world.
Ridicule has justifiably been belted your way. Long may it continue.
We’ve finished in the Top 7 9 times in the past 16 seasons.Been the closest we have been at this stage of the season to the champions league in 16 years.

Agree to most of your post. Only question two players - Don't think your going to teach an old dog new tricks regarding Keane. Think will just plod along. Davies - I'd give up on him. Bottom half squad player in my eyes.Fair question. We have another two seasons and two transfer windows with a reasonable investment and no further progress then absolutely I would be questioning the manager.
At that stage he would have three summer transfer windows plus the January window and somewhere between three and four windows in charge. Certainly I would be expecting us to be serious challengers for top 4 by then.
I am assuming of course that in our transfer windows there are sufficient funds available, not silly money but a budget that will allow him to si players that can make us better than we are before the particular window.
I would point out that regarding the season 20/ 21 I do think we have seen a number of players whose level of performance has improved, Godfrey,Davies,DCL and Keane ,Mina just to name five. I think this a very important point as signing players alone is not enough, you must improve them as well.
We need a minimum 6 wins to do so, that’s not completely out of the realm of possibilityWe’ve finished in the Top 7 9 times in the past 16 seasons.
It’s unlikely we’ll be finishing there under Ancelotti this season, which was the objective.
Its very likely. The teams in 6th and 7th are just two points ahead after playing a game extra. We spanked the team in 6th twice already and the other one at thier beloved Anfield. Something I would have thought the next manger to do would get the keys of the city no matter who he is. This close to champions league in April is dreamland in thos particular competitive league. we are in terrible form and still well in it. This form won't last and we will get back to another run. I I believe in the manager. Its a very competitive league and we are in amongst it thank god. We’ve finished in the Top 7 9 times in the past 16 seasons.

It is the way we’re currently playing. We need a minimum 6 wins to do so, that’s not completely out of the realm of possibility
Not unlikely though is it.We’ve finished in the Top 7 9 times in the past 16 seasons.

I don't agree with your summary of either.Agree to most of your post. Only question two players - Don't think your going to teach an old dog new tricks regarding Keane. Think will just plod along. Davies - I'd give up on him. Bottom half squad player in my eyes.

No one is saying that you hurl abuse. But you are definately not happy with the match day experience, and when that happen continually, questions start the rumbleI don’t spend my money on tickets to hurl abuse at managers & players but maybe that’s just me.
