I don’t hate Ancelotti, I just don’t think he is taking us anywhere we haven’t already been with lesser managers.

He is getting away with a lot of his cock-ups because of who he is.

His past achievements should be disregarded and we should be focusing on what he is doing here.

The home form is an utter disgrace. Do we go into any Goodison game with confidence anymore? That just isn’t right.

8th is par for the course for us. This season, we had the chance to do more but Ancelotti hasn’t been able to do it. We can point to the squad but he did bring in 7 players, breaking our transfer philosophy in the process.

I think what the fans, the manager and the board were hoping for, was to see the sort of significant progress new managers at Leicester and West Ham brought in a short space of time. Not this same old with turgid football to boot.

I don’t want to be right but the writing is on the wall here. Once the fans are back, he better hope he’s found some solutions and has us actually attacking teams because we all know the boos would be raining down if we had to watch this right now.
But the Liverpool game was not a cock up and a success here, this season.

Yet you seem very reluctant to give credit. Used it as a stick to beat him / those who defend him with.

Very odd. Fair enough you don't rate him. I think that is clear. But do try to give credit where due.

Oooh, just noted the transfer philosophy point. WHAT??????

Do you think he should be dismissed after being in the job for little more than a year?

How long do you think any manager should get to establish the team as he wants it?

Do you think the player recruitment in the time of Koeman, Allardyce and Silva was good enough to give Ancelotti a squad good enough to challenge for top six?

I do not ask these questions of you alone, but I think they are relevant when looking at the job CA took over when appointed Everton manager.

The season hasn't finished. We are 8th, but 5 points from 4th with a game in hand - you know this, but are flat out refusing to accept it.

We may finish 8th this year, but we won't be finishing 8th 15-20 points adrift of European football like we have done in previous seasons.

50 league games in charge of Everton when we play Brighton on Monday.

he was appointed 21st December 2019 just over 15 months ago

has our style of play improved in the past 15 months?

From what we were producing under Silva that had us 15 points from 15 games? Yes it has.

I must have missed this mythical period we had before Ancelotti when we used to play sweeping attacking football. When was that, because all I remember is Koeman Allardyce and Silva all getting fired for playing some of the most inept incompetent football in our premier league history with one of the worst groups of players we’ve ever had at Everton.
