The thing is he is correct but unlike you most on here have a decent level of patience and a decent enough view of what the future could hold given an extended solid management team in place.

It is about seeing the long term, is Ancelotti a long term project, yes. Has it been 'long term' yet, no and not by a long shot.

Patience is a virtue, I suggest you step back and search your soul to see if you can find some.

Ancelotti a long term project?

He managed 9 clubs before Everton and only stayed at one of them more than two years.

Let’s not forget that he’s also going to be 62. Not ideal long term project age, is it?

Again, see the bigger picture.

Ancelotti building the club up, getting a stable base is a long term project. Does not necessarily mean he will be here to see it out.

Yes, he has been at clubs for no longer than 2 years, since Milan but then the argument could be said they were all short term success sacking clubs. You look at those clubs and see a general consensus that all managers only last a short period of time (Zidane being the main exception).

He has constantly talked about how he loves it here and not just the club. He loves the area and everything that comes with it.

Hi son is here, I jokingly talked of an Ancelotti dynasty but it would not be shocking to see Davide being propelled more and more into the forefront.

I am not factually saying it will work out but you seem 100% that Ancelotti is not a very good fit at this club, despite the positive signs, I see that he very much is a positive to the club and we have started on that road to being relatively successful and maybe more.

Of course he loves it here. He gets to finish 12th and then finish around where we usually do and be praised.

He’s got of the easiest, extremely high paid jobs in World football.
