No but it’s weird to say we “wrote” a season off under Carlo when he’d only had 3 months prior to the season pause.

Not a knock on you mate, but Simeone is destined for a huge job like United/Chelsea if he leaves Atlético.

I don’t think it is, unless we absolutely nosedive off a cliff, we’re keeping Ancelotti. No moaning from him, we’re absolutely decimated with injuries, and no side in this league is competing with 7 first team players out.

Now Uncle Uz is balls deep in the club I dont think Simeone would be out of the question if he decides to leave Atletico.

We all thought we had no chance of getting Carlo in fairness.

I think the worst of all with Ancelotti is I think we all thought it would be different.

He’s got me feeling just as indifferent to Everton as Fat Sam did.

It may well be. I think many of us many be expecting too much too soon.

Its less than ideal, but thats the way the dice have rolled.

Yep. What can you say really? We signed 3 quality midfield players and they've not been on the same pitch together since November. Without them, our team is disjointed and lacking cohesion.
We go again next season. There are positives to build on. We were never going to be an overnight fix

I don’t want or expect them to be world beaters. I would take us attempting to win a game of football against bottom half fodder at this point.

The clear out should’ve started last season. He clearly loves Davies and Sigurdsson, they aren’t going anywhere.

All true, but there is not a chance in hell Simeone would come here.

Which makes my point that Ancelotti is the best by a long way of who we can get. 2 seasons ago, we had a run of 0 shots on target in over two games, and yet people are unhappy at a decimated squad, struggling.

Its very very disappointing but it needs to be the final confirmation that this squad needs dismantled.

I'm very down at the minute but what alternative is there. We need to back the manager to the maximum. I'm not willing to judge him on only about 55m spent and one full season. If this manager cannot turn us round then I dont think anyone can.

The idea of changing the manager this summer is ludicrous to me. The players are the main problem and nothing is going to change my mind on that. I've never been so indifferent to a squad of players in my life watching Everton. I love a lot of Everton players, but only one of them is at the club at the minute and that’s Coleman who really needs replaced now.

Carlo may have a master plan for next season, but you certainly can’t see what it is. We don’t have a style of play.
