2020/21 Carlo Ancelotti

I think the worst of all with Ancelotti is I think we all thought it would be different.

He’s got me feeling just as indifferent to Everton as Fat Sam did.
I’m not there with him, I genuinely would have refused to go to a game ever again if we dared keep Allardyce in charge beyond that 6 months

So what your saying is basically write every season off until he has a whole new team? I get it, some of them are terrible, but he's paid to improve them and he's not doing it.

We are regressing. I dont want him gone but he's not untouchable and the lack of formation, tactics and gamplan is becoming more regular
No, not write off every season. Just don't wet the bed because he's not got an average squad full of players he never bought challenging for the CL and be patient until he's had enough time and resources to change things.

Basically, be logical and rational.

People have been saying this about the last 3 games. What’s going to happen when we don’t beat Spurs? Where’s the cut off point where people acknowledge we’re actually underperforming?

Mate, this is the same side as the Silva side.

They weren’t good enough, we’re not good enough. When you’re missing three of your most important players in Doucoure, Allan and Calvert Lewin, what do you you expect?

The reality is, we’ve improved, so I don’t think we’re underperforming. We’re burning out and it’s evident.

The home form is diabolical, but when the likes of Sigurdsson finally leave and we get some players who are hungry and want to win, that’s when you’ll see a different, and that’s not an over night job.

No. Our squad players, Tom Davies being a good example, have played considerably more football than they would have done have we not been completely decimated by injuries.

Tom Davies and Andre Gomes have effectively been first eleven players for us for most of
this season. But we want to be in the top 4. It's impossible. They're absolutely horrific footballers, but he has no choice but to play them.

No one on here will ever know the answers to most of those questions.

Tonight we had 10 first team players injured. It became eleven when Mina went off. If that's not exceptional I don't know what is.
Will see if I bother to compare our injury history with other clubs. It would have been interesting to see. But if that is the case, then it raises a number of other questions.

My point is that there has been no improvement in terms of play under Ancelotti (regardless of the question of injuries). I'm not saying we should get rid of Ancelotti, but I'm just stating a fact.
