People have been saying this about the last 3 games. What’s going to happen when we don’t beat Spurs? Where’s the cut off point where people acknowledge we’re actually underperforming?

Well I'm acknowledging that we are under performing mate so can't speak for others. If we beat Spurs we are where I thought we would be. If we draw it will be disappointing and if we lose I think we'll struggle to finish 7th

Have we had any significantly more injuries than other PL teams? If so, what kind of injuries. Could it be due to how we set up our training? Are we good enough at recovery and injury prevention? What kind of diet plan do the players have? The players we have bought, what kind of injury history do they have, and how does their player profile fit with PL? All this is the manager's responsibility.

No one on here will ever know the answers to most of those questions.

Tonight we had 10 first team players injured. It became eleven when Mina went off. If that's not exceptional I don't know what is.

That’s media talk for you, I should imagine Carlo has more attacking options in mind, quite who though is a mystery

Im happy to give Carlo next season but its pretty much make or break you feel.

I would happily take Diego Simeone though who may be soon leaving Atletico.

We’re not getting Simeone though, are we?

Not a knock on you mate, but Simeone is destined for a huge job like United/Chelsea if he leaves Atlético.

I don’t think it is, unless we absolutely nosedive off a cliff, we’re keeping Ancelotti. No moaning from him, we’re absolutely decimated with injuries, and no side in this league is competing with 7 first team players out.

They're terrible players.

So what your saying is basically write every season off until he has a whole new team? I get it, some of them are terrible, but he's paid to improve them and he's not doing it.

We are regressing. I dont want him gone but he's not untouchable and the lack of formation, tactics and gamplan is becoming more regular

I hope we don’t finish 7th. I don’t think this team needs Europa Conference League football in it’s life.

Wait for our only 2 competent midfielders to get fit then wait for the summer and hopefully good recruitment. If we somehow turn this round and get Europe then great but let's be realistic, its not looking likely.

Hopefully next year is a normal season and we avoid these chronic injuries. Good Goodison form needs to be the key next year. Theres a lot of rubbish said about the crowd but we need the crowd. This season has proved it.

I don't think I can deny the tail end of the season is dissapointing and the football has been less than stellar, especially9f late.

It's more the doom cult and rabid shouts to sack him that are amusing me.

Second? He came halfway through last season when we’d only just escaped relegation spots.
