Not like this they haven't. We played them in the middle of a run where they lost 6 consecutive home games, scoring 1 goal. They've won 1 of their last 11 home games (with an injury time winner). They've only EVER lost more home games than this once. As I said, it's not a criticism of Ancelotti in the slightest, you can only beat what's in front of you, but it's just silly to pretend that this wasn't the best chance we'd had to win there (in the league at least) in living memory. It doesn't mean we haven't had a change in mentality of course, but I don't think there's really any dispute that the games have also just generally been 'easier' - for want of a better word - to win.
