Same again. Slow disorganised, off the pace and frankly disinterested. It is what Carlo does. A very good manager in Europe but poor in the League.

Look at the side he had at Milan a team of absolute superstars, from 04-05 they finished 2 ,3 ,4 and 5th.

Look at Madrid in 13-14 a team of superstars that won the Champions League but finished 3rd in La liga.

Sacked at Bayern with them in 3rd, sacked at Napoli with them in 7th but doing well in Europe.

nobody wants to listen

He’s 100% not the right manager for us

Disappointing again today. I'd put the defensive display down to Holgate's rustiness and a lack of playing time together. The lack of cohesion in midfield is more of a worry for me. As always, Iwobi was decent off the bench and Bernard was ok. Our 3 new signings were all off colour today as they have been for me since the last international break.
Hopefully this break will have the reverse effect.

Your lot beat him in Istanbul as well remember..

Never forget to squeeze that one in.

I said at the time he was hired I wasn't sure if he was exactly the fit the club needed but we've done the young and promising one in Martinez, the absolute piece of crap drill instructor in Koeman, Fat Sam(the end), the gamble in Silva and now the genuinely world class manager. If Carlo isn't the fit then who, on earth, can help us?

Someone said it in the match thread, "if Carlo can't help us than we are well and truly screwed"(paraphrasing).

Hanging on to the fact that the last time he lost 3 league games in a row he won the champions league the same season. Hopefully he can get us a cup this season

Carlo is the right man. He’s vastly experienced and can attract top players for us. We just need a couple more windows to sort the squad. We need to add quality in midfield, an athletic RB and a versatile, direct forward and we’ll be well positioned. A world class GK would be nice too.

Big Sam’s 8th place finish needs to start having some context, we got the same number of points we did that season as last season’s 12th place finish got us. I think Allardyce overachieved a bit if honest but he took a bottom half squad and got what would normally be a bottom half points total by actually getting a tune out of a few players.

Ancelotti took a bottom half squad and now has the expectation of a top 4 finish. I’d love that to happen but it’s essentially a bottom half squad with a few class players in it. If they’re out of unfit then we don’t perform. The rest of the top ten have squads they can swap good players in any position. Leicester can lose Pereira at RB and play Castagne. We lose Coleman and our option is a player some believe isn’t good enough for the prem. we lose Digne and it’s Nkonkou, Spurs have Ben Davies behind Reguilon.

Ancelotti needs stability and time like Moyes had. A continuous process of numerous transfer windows getting bad players out and replacing them with better ones until e end up with a squad of 22 players who are all top 6 level. Then god forbid we might actually challenge the top 6.
I just thought that under a manager of such pedigree, especially an Italian one, we would be so much more organised defensively. You have to admit, these numbers conceded are alarming. I mean the likes of arteta even looks like he has got arsenal organised far better than they were. I’m not so sure we are. The manager should be giving us some identity where you can see the influence. You see what rodgers teams do, and to an extent you can already see what arteta does. I am
Not saying we should get rid of him. I’m also not saying I’d rather have one of them two. I’m just saying, I still don’t know what type of formation works, what type of football we want to play. And that’s after almost a year. Is that not a bit concerning?

The goals we've conceded have been really poor like Championship standard, I'm looking through our results and I can't really pinpoint a goal where we've been ripped open by a defense splitting pass it's always just crap defending or personal mistakes, The two goals United got today how can Ancelotti fix that? It's kind of what Silva was hamstrung by the defenders just being proper daft, Might be worth giving Godfrey a try honestly.

Ancelloti has had one transfer window. It was always going to take more than one window to sort out the mess he inherited.

Another 2 to 3 windows is possibly another 4 to 5 players.
Will be a different team/squad.
When he took over i thought two years minimum before he could even start turning it around.
