2020/21 Carlo Ancelotti

Ancelotti obviously needs time, and it is too early to conclude. That said, I'm weak for Ralph Hassenhuttl. We complain about the players we have, but think how much rubbish he has in the squad. He has a clearly defined system with some very clear principles. The team mostly plays entertaining football, and gets the points they need.

Wouldn’t disagree that Hassenhuttl has got Saints playing decent stuff, but don’t forget that his job has been on the line more than once - I remember them losing 9-0 to Leicester; if that happened to us, Carlo would be crucified.

Credit to Ston for sticking with Hassenhuttl because he is a solid manager, but so is Carlo and we should pay him the same respect.

Yup. We have to stick with him. Yes the recent displays have been rubbish but the squad is paper thin.

Ancelotti has rewarded Sigurdsson with the captain’s armband.

He clearly doesn’t notice how useless he is like the fans do.

We could realistically fall as low as 9th today. It is just not good enough.

Fulham, Leeds and Burnley up next. He needs to win them all.

Right ok if you feel that bad go and sit outside goodison and shout Carlo out. It’s like you have some vendetta because we aren’t on the top.

didn’t hear you or the usual dullards moaning then , now we’ve lost 3 your all back out moaning as usual. Give it time and patience and stop worrying about other teams and support this one

We finished 8th twice prior to Ancelotti coming here.

Leicester finished 12th and 9th prior to Brendan Rodgers.

Thats why the french fella got sacked. They improved straight away under rodgers because they clearly had a better squad and team than 12th and 9th. Anyone who didnt play to vardy's only strength had it coming.
What strength did this Everton have just before ancelloti? You tell me where we had anything that was so obviously just needing a manager to change something that made it better?

DCL, clearly.

Who is now the leagues top scorer.
That leicester midfield was decent before rodgers got there.
Ours was atrocious.
We had a better team than Leicester prior to Rodgers joining. Finishing places speak for themselves.

Not to mention how they have lost Mahrez, Maguire and Chilwell and just got on with it through good recruitment.

We’re paying Ancelotti more in wages than Rodgers is getting and we’re spending more money than Leicester in the transfer market.

Time to start improving or we know which way this will go and it’ll be Ancelotti getting the sack.

I would keep Carlo but Brands has to go - blokes done nothing but sign absolute wasters.

Gomes
Delph
Iwobi
Kean
Mina
Gbamin?
Doucoure?
Godfrey?

When will people open their eyes and realise until we get rid of that divvy we could have Houdini as manager and nothing will change.

Although Carlo has to sort out the defence and stop playing Gomes/Siggurdsson in midfield whilst James is out wide.

Add Allan to this list

Disagree. Leicester were under the grip of a dour negative manager who as soon as he got sacked a manager came in and got what was more realistic performances. Leicester fans knew it. He was suffocating a decent team.
Youve just answered the question. They recruited well. We recruited awful. Ancelloti never recruited them.
He needs two more windows at least to get in players from, your own words, awful recruitment.
